Project Brief

Project Brief

The project brief is a tool for collecting requirements from your client. Available from the project sidebar and dashboard tiles.

Brief types

  1. 1.Project brief – general questions about scope and client expectations
  2. 2.Room brief – functional details per room
  3. 3.Custom survey – your own custom questions

Question types

  • Single choice – one answer from a list
  • Multiple choice – several answers from a list
  • Text – free-form text field
  • Scale – rating from 1 to 5/10
  • Image selection – client picks from an image gallery
  • File – client uploads photos or documents

Brief builder

  1. 1.Choose a brief type or start from a template
  2. 2.Add questions – set order, categories, required/optional
  3. 3.Add branding – logo, cover image, theme (light/dark)
  4. 4.Generate a link for the client
  5. 5.Send the link – client fills it out without registration

What happens after completion?

  • Responses are saved in the project
  • AI generates a brief summary
  • AI creates notes per room from functional responses
  • Room details are auto-filled
  • Tasks can be created automatically (e.g., "Client wants to change the floor in the living room")
  • Designer receives a notification about the completed brief

Versioning

Briefs support versioning – you can send an updated brief to the client while preserving the full history of previous responses.
