Cost Estimate
The cost estimate is where you manage the full project budget. It consists of three elements: products, materials, and labor.
Products in the estimate
Approved products from wishlists enter the cost estimate with fulfillment statuses:
- To order → Ordered → Paid → Delivered
- Payment tracking: unpaid, deposit, paid
Materials
Finishing materials (tiles, paint, flooring…):
- Name, quantity, unit, price, material type, supplier
- Planning statuses: Draft → Planned → Approved → Rejected
- Fulfillment statuses: To order → Ordered → Paid → Received → Completed
- Assign to rooms – a material can apply to multiple rooms
Labor
Construction services (installation, painting, electrical…):
- Name, subcontractor, duration, price
- Statuses: To order → Ordered → Paid → In progress → Completed
- Assign to rooms – a service can apply to multiple rooms
Budget
- Estimated budget – sum of main and approved products + materials + labor
- Spent budget – actually paid items
- Remaining – target budget minus spent
- Breakdown – by category, room, type
- Group by room – collapsible sections per room with budget
Budget snapshots
Liru automatically creates daily budget snapshots – you can see a spending trend chart over time.
